The usage of terms like Lame, Dumb, Crazy is so common place in the language used by millennials that one is hardly aware of the bias it has taken shape from. The original meanings of the words are lost somewhere to be replaced by new ones to suit our expression. While we are on the subject, these compositions are an attempt to step back and inquisitively inquire, how sensitive or insensitive are we to persons with mental or physical disability.
While iterating my aim was to highlight how disability isn't limited to persons with mental or physical disabilities but they very much exist in each and everyone of us.
For example;
Being able to be Sensitive.
Being able to Understand.
Being able to Accommodate.
and so on.

After exploring with different ideas of form, layout in these composition with type. I decided to stick with a soft color palette corresponding to the core values of the project; Fragility and sensitivity with regards to Language and body.

Below are the final five compositions of my expression on the topic.
The typeface that I used is called Brandon Grotesque.

Lame
Original Meaning: Inability to walk, a cripple
